Airway Specialist
My main duties are helping with the airway and sleep evaluations. I am very excited to be a part of a new specialty that gives patients improved breathing, sleep and ultimately a longer and healthier life. I really enjoy working with all the positive and friendly staff.It makes my day more enjoyable and fun. I look forward to gaining more dental knowledge and adding to my skills in order to assist patients better. I have enjoyed growing up in Kansas City and graduated from the University of Kansas. My other personal interest and hobbies include, working out, watching movies and spending time with my family.

I love the friendly home-town environment of Drake Family Dentistry. The team here is wonderful to work with! I have worked in the dental field for about 15 years and 10 here with Dr. Drake. Prior to having children, I also worked in the front office of two other dental practices. I am originally from the Bonner Springs/Basehor area and attended Basehor High School. I’ve been married to my husband Aaron for over 30 years, and we have five children and four grandchildren! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with the grandkids, reading, shopping and just relaxing in our pool.

Hello, I’m Julia, here to help you get healthy chairside with dental cleanings. So many of us have never been taught to clean our teeth the updated way. My goal is to help get you healthy and stay healthy. I’ve been in the dental field for 26 years and love what I do. I enjoy working at Drake family dentistry. Laughing with Dr. Drake and staff makes for a great day!

I am originally from Cuba 🇨🇺, I graduated as a Dental Assistant in 2019 and have been working in the field ever since. I am truly passionate about my profession and deeply enjoy helping people feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smiles.
I consider myself a dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented person who is always striving to learn and grow professionally.
Outside of work, I love going to the gym, watching movies, dancing, and shopping. I enjoy a balanced lifestyle that keeps me motivated, happy, and inspired every day.
Nicole Schintgen

I am Nicole. I have been in dentistry for 40 years. I love that I learn new things everday and when patient become like family. I enjoy working with my teammates at Drake Family Dentistry. My husband is a retired army officer, we have two adult sone and we decided to make Kansas our home. During the summer I spend most of my time gardening, chasing after my adopted Greyhounds or in the pool. I also enjoy cooking and trying new recipes.
